In 1992 Steve founded Cyberdyne Corporation, a network services firm specialized in supporting Microsoft Windows and Citrix multi-user operating systems. In June of 2000 international consulting firm Aston Group bought Cyberdyne Corporation. Steve served as the Chief Technology Officer of Aston Group North America until June of 2001. From July 2001 through July of 2003 he traveled the world visiting 32 countries in South America, Europe and Asia.

During the summer of 2003, Steve started Ipanema Solutions to help midsize companies improve their communications and network infrastructure. Ipanema Solutions quickly evolved to supporting multiple 24 x 7 industries with a focus on hotels and hotel management companies. Today Steve oversees technology projects for hotel operators throughout the country. He holds technical certifications in converged network infrastructure from Microsoft, HP, Avaya and Ruckus Wireless.

Emily is a native of South Carolina. She attended Clemson University where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies and minor in Social Sciences. Emily oversees customer service for Ipanema Solutions. She is experienced at facilitating the complex relationships between vendors, carriers, customers and hotel franchisors. Emily also oversees recruiting of network and field engineers for Ipanema Solutions.

Tatiana has a degree in U.S. Relations from Volgograd State University in Russia. She started her career in customer relations at a printing firm in Volzhskiy, Russia. She has worked in the oil services industry in Russia as has experience working and managing in a small, high-focused startup. For Ipanema Solutions Tanya oversees accounting and administration.

Geoff is a native of Kenya and graduate of Davenport University in Information Technology. Geoff oversees the delivery of managed services to Ipanema Solutions hotel clients. He is a member of the Ipanema Solutions Level 2 & 3 network operations staff based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Geoff serves as the primary liaison between the Level 2 and Level 3 network engineer located at the network operations center and the Level I support staff located at the call center. He coordinates proactive network maintenance and oversees reactive help desk support to hotel staff.

Hussein Salamey oversees service delivery for hotels located in the Midwest. He is certified in hotel communications platforms from Avaya and Asterisks. Hussein is experienced at staging and implementation of converged network technologies from Hewlett-Packard, Ruckus Wireless, SonicWall, and Avaya. Hussein is an expert at hotel property management system interfaces for Hilton, IHG and Starwood and implemented the first hotel SIP installations on multiple communications platforms with XO, Paetec and AireSpring.

Lance Stewart specializes in managing low voltage cabling projects. Lance has managed the installation of high profile low voltage projects including the high tech Calhoun Lofts at the University of Houston and the LEED certified Embassy Suites Houston Downtown. At the Embassy Suites Lance’s Houston based team installed nearly 2,500 CAT6e / RG6Q cables to 262 guest suites supporting a converged network of HD video, guest Internet, energy & lighting management and the hotels property management system. Lance oversees field services for Ipanema Solutions in Texas and Louisiana.
