Ipanema Solutions Implements VoIP Communications Solutions for Gleaner Life
Ann Arbor, Michigan – November 14, 2007: Ipanema Solutions has completed the implementation of an Avaya VoIP communications solution for Gleaner Life. The solution includes a completely overhauled telephone system with unified voice and fax messaging.
Direct dial and direct faxing to users will provide enhanced productivity for the Gleaner staff. Users are able to receive faxes directly to their Microsoft Outlook mailboxes along with select users receiving direct voice calls.
Unlike the prior system in place at Gleaner the information systems staff are able to manage the telephone system adding and changing users as needed. This increases Gleaners ability to move quickly as their organization changes.
Ipanema Solutions developed a prototype application to allow the integration of Gleaners line of business software to caller ID information provided by the telephone system.
The following companies were involved in the Gleaner project: Avaya, Castelle, Microsoft and Verizon.
