Ipanema Solutions Awarded Turn-key Technology Project for Hilton – University of Houston

Ipanema Solutions LLC has been awarded a technology contract to oversee the technology systems to be installed at the Hilton – University of Houston. The hotel is currently under renovation. The hotel is owned by the State of Texas under license from Hilton Hotels and operated as a training hotel under the supervision of the Conrad N. Hilton School of Hospitality at the University of Houston.

The contract involves the following technologies and services:

Technology project management and coordination with:
- Hilton OnQ Property Management System
- InnCOMM Energy Management
- World Cinema HD for in-room HD television programming
- Skidata parking control system
Low voltage cabling design and installation management for all hotel technology
Innovation ComXchange telephone, voicemail and call accounting system installation
Axis IP surveillance and security system
Meeting room audio visual planning
Business center and guest printing installation

The Hilton University of Houston features 86 guestrooms and 25,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 6,200-square foot Conrad N. Hilton Ballroom.
