Ipanema Solutions improves the guest experience at Staybridge Suites - Novi, MI

The benefits are improved and more reliable WIFI access for both the business and leisure traveler.

The WIFI improvements were achieved thru:

Installation of a secondary Internet provider and hardware load balancer; if the hotel has any trouble with their primary Internet provider’s service hotel guests will automatically received bandwidth from the secondary provider
Enhanced bandwidth provided by BrightHouse Cable increases bandwidth available to guests from 3 megabit download and 3 megabit upload to 13 megabit download and 4 megabit upload. This is a 300% improvement in download speed
Installation of redundant guest gateways. If the hardware gateway fails the backup with provide Internet service to all of the guests in the hotel.

The improvements to the guest WIFI at the Staybridge Suites – Novi, MI put the hotel in full compliance with IHG’s 2011 Internet Brand Standards. The improvements were made with no capital cost thru the use of Ipanema Solution’s Hardware as a Service (HaaS) offering.
