Ipanema Solutions Awarded Contract from Hotel St Regis - Detroit
Project to provide a VoIP communications system and guest Internet infrastructure to the renovated boutique hotel
Ann Arbor, June 2007: Ipanema Solutions LLC was chosen to provide its expertise in technology services to the Hotel St Regis - Detroit. The Hotel St Regis - Detroit chose Ipanema Solutions to replace its aging digital telephone system with an Avaya Hospitality Voice over IP system during its current renovation. The Hotel St Regis - Detroit features 124 guest rooms and suites. After considering non VoIP offerings, the hotel realized the value proposed by Ipanema Solutions’ VoIP solution.
 Ipanema Solutions will implement a guest room Internet solution using low powered access points by Teledex built specifically for the hospitality market. These access points allow a higher density of users in the hotel over traditional non-hospitality built access points. Ipanema Solutions is integrating products from Avaya, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Teledex and SonicWall for the hotel. 
Ipanema Solutions will work with the Hotel St Regis - Detroit to provide the hotel a complete technology solution including:

Second Generation WiFi access points and Internet gateway from Teledex

A VoIP hospitality telephone system from Avaya & DuVoice

Microsoft Small Business Server with Exchange 2003 to support sales and back office electronic mail and sales and catering applications

The project will be completed in October 2007.
